So I'm really getting into FOTD'S for some reason. It's a lot easier for me to do rather than trying to film, then edit and upload onto YT. I really want to get into my blog posting because I've been pretty poo in the past.
The look was for a night out but as it was a nice summers evening I didn't want to go overboard. I wore a pretty casual coral playsuit from Primark so I thought i could get away with nice hair and makeup :)
I have been going for the same eyeshadows for a while now but for this look I simply added more darker browns to create more of an evening look.

FOTD
Hellooo... So I thought I would share with you another FOTD. I sometimes prefer taking photos rather than the whole YT video simply for time and lighting issues. Anyway... I took some photos the other day of a casual makeup look I have been opting for when I am not tanned. I don't usually like looking pale, as I feel it makes me look completely pasty and somewhat ill! Some of you may ask why my bottom eyelashes aren't coated with mascara but I don't usually apply it to the bottom because it makes them look spiders legs, no lie!
Products I've used:
Face- Bourjous healthy mix foundation (51)
Mac pro longwear concealer (NC15)
Mac skinfinish natural powder (medium)
Bedhead Blush (Shyness, I think)
Eyes- Urban Decay primer potion
Urban decay- half baked, all over lid
Mac- Woodwinked in outer edge
Mac Satin top in crease
Rimmel extreme black voume mascara flash
Lips- Sleek true colour lipstick- Barley there
Topshop gloss- Antique
I think that is everything I had on! I was going for a really casual look as I was only going to college. I've been loving smokey golden/brown eyes recently and I love ittt!
Stay tuned ! xx

I love anime!!
I know this post is totally random but I just had to share my love for Japanese Anime films! I've been into the Studio Ghibli films for a good few years.
My favorite Studio Ghibli films:
1. Howls Moving Castle- This was the third anime film I ever saw and I was obsessed with the music, characters and especially howl who is gorgeous (I know he is a anime character but he has a gorgeous voice and charm about his character ;)
2. Spirited Away- An all time classic! This was the first anime film I saw and made me fall in love with Japanese animation. I believe any age category could watch these films, understand and enjoy them.
3. Nausicca, Valley of the Wind- I love this film, although it is rather complicated and has an unusual plot. The film is set in the future and refers to topics such as pollution and global warming. I don't want to give too much away but basically the world is becoming toxic and the main character tries to protect the land. It sounds boring but it has a lovely story line to it :)
I'm going to leave it as a top 3, other wise I will get carried away and go on for ever! I have nearly watched all the Studio Ghibli films and I am now looking into different directors to find new loves and favorites. I bought "5 Centimetres per second" in HMV and I am soo excited to watch it!
Are you guys into anime? If not I suggest you give it a try, you might be suprised!!
P.S -
I also think this post has inspired me to do a Disney favourite post! :) xx

Book time!
Hellooooo!
This is a bit of a random blog post today,as it isn't beauty related. I don't know why but as soon as the sun pops out I always seem to think I have all the time in the world, when in fact I don't. I have exams coming in a a few months and I should be revising for them but I feel like I need to indulge myself in a good book. I fell in love with "The time traveler's wife" by Audry Niffenegger. I read this book a few summers ago and I loved it so much! I was excited when it was released in the cinemas but was rather disappointed when they missed some of the best parts. I think I'm going to read it again when I'm having my little breaks from revision.
What books do you guys recommended?

Beauty UK- Metallic eye sparks
So a few weeks ago I popped into my local Superdrug. I can go into Superdrug with nothing particular in my mind, just a simple look around but then come out with a much loved product. I never usually look at the Beauty UK line, as the packaging isn't enough to attract me. Anyway, I had a look as there was a half price sale on and came across some amazing metallic eye pencils. They come in a range of colours such as blue, gold, green, grey and purple and I think they look amazing as a base when creating a smokey eye! Ash (my sister) picked up the green and grey one and I only got the copper colour as I thought it would go really well with some of my urban decay eyeshadow's. The standard price for these eye pencils are around £2.50, which is a bargain. I've been wearing the copper pencil as a base on my eyelids, with half baked over the top and a nice brown colour in the crease.
I recommended you go check out these products! very much worth the price!

Should I, or shouldn't I?
Hey everyone!
So I need some opinions/ advice about some videos I'm thinking of doing.
As some of you might already know, I work at a really cheap shop (part time may I add) at a store called Quality Save. Basically it sells products from Boots and Superdrug but at a much cheaper price. So I was thinking of doing a video series, where I sort of review products that I've bought from my work and depending on whether I like them or not I can report back to you all to let you know what I think of them and whether they're good enough to spend the full price on in Boots/Superdrug. I get rather annoyed when I spend a bit more money in drugstores and I'm not entirely happy with the product, as it just gets chucked in my draw and I never use it again. I feel these videos could be rather satisfying for those of you who want to buy a product but are unsure whether to do so due to the price. Obviously the reviews of the products will be my own opinions, so some people may disagree with my views but it’s always helpful in some ways I guess.
Please let me know what you think to these types of videos, it would be really helpful. I was sort of inspired by Pixi2woo as she does her "make up your mind Monday" although I won't be comparing products I will simply be testing whether or not that product lives up to the price it’s been given. It may also be helpful for those of who do live near cheap stores such as "Home Bargains" and "Poundworld"
